Heeeeeeeeeey guys!!! I’m soooo sooo sorry I haven’t done a post in ages and I know no the last few posts I’ve been saying that I’m super busy which actually I am!! But I’m very sorry that I haven’t been active on here recently, just wait in May guys when university is finally finished wohooo, I’ll be posting so much you’ll be sick of me. Anyways back the topic of ‘blush’.
So recently guys I don’t know what it is but I’ve been very obsessed with blushes. Like my makeup is not complete if I don’t apply Blush of some sort to my face. So in this post I will be reviewing some of the blushes that I own (creams and powders) and the good and the not so good things about them. I hope you enjoy 🙂
Before I get into it guys I thought you’d like to know that I’m more of cream Blush girl and not a powder girl. I feel that creams work better on my skin as I do have dry skin 🙂
First we will review the cream blushes
I’m sure you guys can figure out which product is which but for those that don’t I’ll let you. Top photo- furthers left is Bobbi brown, bourjois, rimmel.
I’m going to go straight to my favourite one which is the Bourjois cream Blush ’06’ (in the bottom photo this is the 4th swatch and ’04’ which is the 5th swatch. Now I love love love love these colour, like look at the subtle shimmer in it!
Soft and creamy texture
Glides on flawless
Easy to blend out with just using fingers
Looks super natural and beautiful
Has the right amount of pigmentation
It’s super versatile- I like to use it as eyeshadow and on my lips
I cannot complain about these two shades because the colour is so me and the formula is so creamy and thick.
Bobbi brown pot rouge for lips and cheeks- uber beige 28
Love the colour, it’s not too dark and not too light
Again it’s versatile
It stays on all day and doesn’t wear away so no need for top up
However the only thing I don’t like about it is the fact that the formula is tacky and sticky and the price is not worth is.
Rimmel stay blushed – ‘003’ and ‘005’
I love thee shades for creating the perfect glow look
Easy to blend and lasts all day
It has a very smooth finish and it doesn’t even look like you are wearing anything. Looks very natural but adds the subtle glow
It’s a thick consistent and it’s very pigmented, so a little goes a long way
Guys all of the cream blushes I got from fragrancedirect (online) because they are super super cheap. Now moving onto powder blushes
The shimmer in it is to die for literally lol
It’s super pigmented
It’s a beautiful shade
Last all day
When applying to the face it doesn’t even feel or sit like powder, like it’s untraceable when applied to the skin
The only down side for me is that it’s definitely out of my budget to be buying these blushers
Too faced papa don’t peach
Out of all my powder blushes this is my favourite
It smells like peaches, once I open it I can literally just sit for hours smelling it
The colour is so peachy guys lol, it’s just the colour a Blush should be
I love spraying my brush then applying this to my lids
Only downside is that it is quiet powdery, so it does take abit of time to blend out
Zoeva nude spectrum
Does not feel like powder at all as it’s very creamy
Getting 4 different shades in one pallete is defo going to help you save money and storage
I use this for eyeshadow too
The only thing I don’t think about it is the fact that two of the shades are useless because they are too dark. They are so dark that maybe I could use them as a contour or a bronzer lol.
Milani powder Blush ’05’ and ’11’
Guys just look at the packaging firstly, how beautiful is it. Like I’m a sucker for anything that looks like roses
It’s easy to apply onto the skin
Cheap and cheerful
Pretty big pan so it’ll last a long time
I love the colour, especially ’11’ as it’s a light pinky purple shimmery shade
Looks beautiful on the eyelids too
The only things I hate about it is the smell and it has a chalky feeling to it, like when I was trying to swatch it, it would crumble. And you have to put a few layers of the powder on your cheeks for the colour tonreally stand out.
I hope you enjoyed this post guys 🙂
Hey guys, hope you’re all good. I know I know I know you don’t need to tell me that’s I haven’t been up to date with my posts but I’ve just been soooooo busy for the past couple of weeks that I’m trying really hard to squeeze some time in for you girlies.
I thought I would do a review on some products from an affordable drugstore brand called ‘BarryM’. Now guys I have heard such amazing things about this brand but I’ve never really had the chance to look into it or try any of their products up until now. If I’m honest guys when it comes to the base of my makeup such as the highlighting and contouring I do tend to use high end products for that because unfortunately I can’t find any drugs store products for continuing that meet my expectations. So when I saw these cute products from BarryM I couldn’t help myself and I’m pretty sure if you spend something like £7.99 on BarryM products they throw in a free ‘chisel cheeks contour kit’. So without further ado guys I’m going to get straight into it.
From superdrug I purchased:
Flawless chisel cheeks contour kit (for light to medium skin tones)
Flawless chisel cheeks contour cream kit
Matte me up lip kit (pose)
It feels really soft and buttery
Applies evenly to the skin without making it look patchy
The shades are really intense, so you only really need a little bit
It is buildable
Stay put all day
Gives you a really chiseled look
It isn’t messy
Needs to be a better shade range as the colors are a tad on the dark side if you’re pale like me
I love the shade range, it’s very Versatile
The formula is super creamy and thick but not to thick, it’s just right
It is also builable
When apply the contour cream it is not messy at all, it applies with precision
Gives a beautiful subtle glow to the skin
Amazing for people with dry skin
Cons: none other than to make the pans abut thicker
I love the colour, it a beautiful pinky nude
It last all day
I can’t fault the lip liner, it’s so creamy and soft
The actual liquid lipstick is way to drying on my lips
Patchy, I had to apply it a good three times to get an even coat
Sorry for keeping you waiting guys, I know a post is long over due but I’ve been so busy with university and my business that I haven’t even had 5 minutes to myself this week.
I have decided to do this specific post on hijabs as my snapchat followers and Instagram followers went crazy over my hijabs. I didn’t expect to see so many people interested in it, so I thought I owe you guys a review on the best hijabs ever.
For over a year now, I have stuck to one company for my hijabs which is HeartHijabs https://www.hearthijab.com/ I am in love with their hijabs because of the amazing and luxurious material at super super cheap prices, I’m only talking a couple of pounds guys!!
Now I know alot of people will say ‘hijab is a hijab, there’s no biggie about it, all you need is just any scarf on your head’ but guys that’s far from the issue you see. When I first started wearing a hijab three years ago, I struggled because I felt like the scarfs I had did not flatter me or do my fat face any justice instead it made me really weary of my appearance and how the scarf looked on me and sometimes it did bring my self esteem down because to me the right scarf is just as important as the clothes you go out it. When you go out you want to wear nice clothes, that’s the same principle us hijabis follow when choosing a scarf to wear! So any how I really struggled at the beggining because I was a student and didn’t wanna pay so much money for a hijab so it was hard to find something I like.
Now fast foreword 2 years and I came across HeartHijabs while browsing the Internet and at first when looking through their page, I didn’t think much of the scarfs when ordering them as they were super cheap so I thought they probably aren’t even good material but anywho let’s try them out!! Wasn’t I very wrong about that. The scarfs from there are so beautiful guys and fits any face shape, I fell in love with them and I’m so glad I found them. There are sooooo many styles and designs to chose from at such affordable prices like as little as £3 a hijab or £2.
Below I’m going to show you some of my favourite hijabs from there 🙂
As you can see you can just about wear there scarfs in any style you want, they are so versatile and all I need is one hijab pin to keep it in place. Ladies if you don’t check them out you are missing out x
